Proper Shopping Etiquette
Here’s an easy way to not being hated by people working at a particular store of your choice. If a store happens to close at say 5p.m. and you get there at 4:55, don’t hang around in the store. Enter the store only if you know exactly what you need and exactly where it is. These people have a life outside of work too. The last thing they want to do wait for you to just “look around”, while you have no intention of buying anything. Also, do not under any circumstances use the line, “but I drove all the way here from [insert neighboring town here]“. No one cares where you drove from. By using the line all the way here, you’ve just stated that you’re a liar, and that the drive took all of 15 or 20 minutes. You should have left yourself more time to get there. So don’t get pissy, just get back in your car and drive home and come back another time. It’s ok, your life won’t be ruined. Follow this simple step to avoid being mother f-ed by the employees of said store.
